One summer night I was out in the boonies with my girlfriend. We just got done fuckin in the back seat and it was really hot so we went outside and laid on the hood and watched the stars. Suddenly we noticed a dot that was zigzagging across the sky. It would be moving one way, then change direction about 90 degrees and zip over to the side, then again. There were a couple of them I think. Couldn't have been a plane, planes don't maneuver like that. Anyway, this is a true story, not a troll, so I'm just wondering if anyone has seen shit like this themselves.

Alright check this shit out. I thought of this when I was high off my ass but it seems to make sense now too. The popular opinion in science is that the universe is endless, infinite. So this means there are infinite combinations of things and infinite possiblities. Then this means that there are tons of different aliens out there, and in fact, this would mean that anything you can think of exists somewhere in the universe. So, in this case, if you think about a race of aliens that has destroyed the earth, why hasn't this happened yet? This appears to be a contradiction, and therefore the universe is not endless.

Einstein says the universe is finite.
In fact, he calculated it's size.
It's freaking huge, but still not endless.
Especially if the Big Bang is true, then the universe is only as big as it had time to expand.
If God created it, then maybe it's endless, but probably not.

Also, this might be in the same vein, but in any contingency, with infinite time, all probabilities will occur an infinite number of times. Thus, if time is infinite, and there is a chance aliens will fucking kill us, they will inevitably fucking kill us an infinite number of times over the course of infinity. But, I guess, we'd also kill them an infinite number of times too. If and only if time is indeed infinite.

Yea, if space is infinite, there would be an infinite number of instances where life could exist, and an infinite number of aliens, and if they had an infinite amount of time, they'd kill us.

It seems by certain, perfectly valid assumptions that ET life should be possible, but it's particularly damning that by other, perfectly valid assumptions we have detected no technologically emitting life whatsoever. The utter lack of intelligent signals from the entire sky strongly says there is no technological life out there. And if there's none of that, and since we have those certain, perfectly valid assumptions in the first place, then those assumptions are called into serious question.
So, no, I don't believe that ET life exists. Something is very wrong with our assumptions or with the universe.
When Einstein developed his theory of gravitation, usually called general relativity, he found a problem. The universe, which he thought was static, could not be static according to his equations. Instead of predicting that the universe was changing, he modified his equations to introduce a cosmological constant that would support his theory. When physicist Edwin Hubble discovered that the universe was not static but was expanding, Einstein called his cosmological constant "the greatest mistake of my life".

People have been documenting flying saucers since the caveman era.

Probably the dumbest idea I have heard in the past few months TBH. Infinite combinations and infinite possibilities, this can't be true. There are only so many ways for the matter we have to create life. There are building blocks that have to be used for life. By what you are saying, I could think of a rock breathing alien and somewhere this is true. Man you must still be high lol.

Infinite space means infinite matter. I think it's pretty clear that was the assumption here.

It's not endless. The fucking scientists don't know what they are talking about half the time. Mostly a bunch of people just dedicating their life to appear smarter than everyone else. That's why they have those scientific journals and shit, competing to get published.
Anyway, the latest belief is that the universe is pulsating. It expands and contracts. I guess they couldn't explain some shit without that theory. Just look at how many times science books have changed over the years if you don't believe me. A large percentage of 'science' has been contradicted in the past 100 years.
