True but if it is the choice of having to barely eek out a living in piano bars or becoming a full bore media whore and becoming a multi-millionaire, it's easy to see why Gaga made the choice.

Yeah. But personally I paid attention to her for the last two weeks of November and most of December then that was it. I'd had enough. The release of Bad Romance was a wee bit over the top for me. But I suppose modern America demands this kind of stuff.
