The problem with the "if you choose the right woman, the unfairness of divorce court is irrelevant" attitude is that you'd HAVE to get it right. For the rest of your life. Or you're royally fucked.
No woman would agree to the reverse situation where they stood to lose everything, because no matter how remote they thought the danger, they'd recognize that it was real and applied to them--and was grossly unfair.
A lot of men are in denial of this, because their self-image is based on thinking themselves as superior to other men (in judgment, desirableness, character, etc) and so think they are immune to any of the misfortune that they think is only suffered by "lesser" men (who deserve their fates through failure of judgment, character, etc).
They are also in denial of the fact that women taking men to the cleaners in divorce and minimizing father contact with the kids is the standard, not the exception. They think that their superior judgment prevents them from ever having this happen to them anyway.
They are so smug in their arrogance that they can't conceive of the injustices ever applying to them, and have pre-judged any man who does suffer them as deserving of his fate, so see no need to reform the system. In theory, their perfect marriages would be unaffected either way, so reform is a waste of time and being a superior man who can guarantee himself a stable marriage for life is the only real answer.

I sense that there is going to be a new movement against women, soon. The women's movement has taught us that women suck just as much as men do. Gone will be all the perks of cuntdom, soon, methinks.

I have been in long term relationships my entire life. I am a serial monogamist, and at age 40 I doubt that will change. When every GF I have ever had talked to me about marriage I always said no. Why? Lots of reasons, when I was young it was timing. I wanted the big house, car, bank account and couldn't do that supporting another person. As I got older the reasons changed. The biggest one is: there is no reason for a man to get married. None.
Sex? Your kidding right? You can get if from hookers or sluts or GFs. Married men have no steady access to sex that single men don't have. None. In fact most married men have a lot less sex than you are told. The internet has let that cat out of the bag.
Security? Every person I know is divorced at least once.
Commitment: See above.
The traditional clean house, clean clothing, and home made food: The only people I know who have that are the men who do that for them selves. The only people. Every guy I know does his own laundry, and most of the cleaning. Home made food isn't the norm in most houses.
Women's value drops throught the floor after about age 25. Every women I have been with, and every women my friends have been with, and their friends too have the mental age of about 15. If they are going to be that young and stupid then they better be hot fuck machines. They aren't after about age 25. Blaming emotions for poor decisions is cute, but stops being real as an adult. You acted like a bitch cause you wanted to.
Consequences in a marriage for men are absolute and for women they are non existent. Loose the house, kids, savings and future money earned if you are a man? You bet. If you are a women? No chance. Surprisingly fewer smart guys want this opportunity.
Weird by product? The only way to get married and game the system is to go into debt to your eyeballs, take only a job that is equal in pay to your mates, and never let them stop working (even with kids.) Have negative equaty in the house/cars.

You tards (even the married ones) need to take a step back and really attempt to observe the institution of marriage from the 30,000-ft view.
From that view it is obvious that there is zero purpose for marriage to the American male.
And it's already been proven that Katabitch is not married has never been married and never will be married. He's some hopeless schizophrenic loser on a government psychatric pension who stays up all night collecting huge amounts of data on all regged posters and playing fantasy games made for people half his age.
No, that can't be true, I personally find he's said some truly insightful things here about the parlous state of marriage in these troubled times.

The OCD misogynists on this board either have never had a GF or sex without a pro, or they married/knocked up someone who was maybe an 8/10 or 9/10 for the 3 weeks leading up to the wedding before her looks shit the bed.
