If they did that, the entire country collapse, considering the top 3% pay 50% of the total income tax revenues. As for the "95% getting wealthier", half of those people never paid taxes to being with, so yeah, they're getting wealthier by getting bigger hand-outs.

But don't worry, the truly rich will move to tax havens (Monaco, Switzerland, Isle of Mann, etc.), leaving this country to under the weight of its own entitlement programs.

And that's coming from someone who hates Bush, but understands basic macroeconomics.
